Mo.Button: small, discreet, essential!
Customizing your motorcycle involves installing new accessories, meters, indicators, etc. So many elements requiring a supply of energy.
Managing the electrical harness and the length of cables that twist and pile up is often a real headache. Not to mention the disastrous effect on the look of the bike. If the Mo.Unit already provides a real solution, Motogadget further reduces wiring with the Mo.Button .
Its reduced size, 25 mm in length with a diameter of 12 mm, allows it to be slipped into your handlebars or any other suitable location depending on your modifications. In addition to saving space and weight, it is a valuable ally for customizing motorcycles.
The easy installation of the control cables inside the handlebars will considerably reduce the hassle associated with their often laborious installation. In no time, they disappear, saving your cockpit from an unsightly clump.
Once installed, the Mo.Button electrically connects all fittings, switches and buttons on the handlebars. Digital signal transmission is ensured by bus technology. The signal is sent over a single cable to the Mo.Unit Blue , Mo.Unit Basic or mo.unit v.2, depending on your equipment.
Why install the Mo.Button? 3 configuration examples
- Without Mo.Button and without Mo.Unit : the different switches positioned on the handlebars manage, for example, the indicators or the lighting. They transfer current to their operation. Due to the electrical intensity required, sections of cables of large diameters connect the fuse box to the switches. As many cables as connected equipment and, quickly, a quickly overwhelming pile, far removed from the customization aspirations of motorcyclists.
- With the Mo.Unit alone: the Mo.Unit managing high loads and currents, only the minimum control pulses are transmitted. It thus allows the use of thin cables to ensure the connection to the various switches. A notable reduction in the quantity of cables, particularly of large diameters. - By combining Mo.Unit and Mo.Button: all switches are connected inside the handlebar to the Mo.Button, connected to the Mo.Unit by a single thin cable .
